Mental Health Resources In Our Community
The Mental Health Access Coalition has compiled a list of mental health reseources here in our local community.
This list is maintained and monitored by partner agencies in an effort to make locating a provider an easier and less overwhelming process. Links are also provided below directly to our partner agencies on both the local and state level.

Local Resources:
Coastal Empire Community Mental Health Center
The Coastal Empire hotline (800-922-7844) operates 5 pm – 8:30 am and triages calls:
- Can problem be solved over the phone
- Is face-to-face meeting necessary
- Is evaluation for possible hospitalization necessary
Mental Health America-Beaufort/Jasper
The NAMI SC Helpline (800-788-5131) is information only, ditto the NAMI.org helpline (800-950-6264)
The two Crisis lines NAMI Beaufort County lists on our website are National Suicide Prevention Lifelines (800-784-2433 and 800-273-8255)
