Our History

The Mental Health Access Coalition was formed in 2006 to enahnce access to mental Health care for the Beaufort County Community.  The members of the Coalition include Coastal Empire Community Mental Health Center, Hope Haven, Beaufort Memorial Hospital, Mental Health America Beaufort/Jasper, National Alliance on Mental Illness-Beaufort County, the Island Counselors and many others. 

In late 2008, the Coalition began an effort to bring a comprehensive, web-based database of community mental health providers to the area.  This site is a direct result of those efforts.
